Lets look
at Satan from a positive vantage point. He has at least seven (7) qualities
worth imitation: (strengths)
1 -
He Is Completely Devoted To His Mission! (No Apathy)
(Gen. 3; Mt 4; Job; Rev. 12:7, Jn. 10:10)
2 -
He Is Tireless in His Efforts. (Don’t get discouraged)
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of
God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered
the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and
down in it. (KJV)

He Doesn't Quit. (You quit he just keeps going - 24/7/365)
Rev 12:10
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength,
and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our
brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. (KJV)

He Knows the Bible. (Mt. 4) (You Wont Out Study Him)

11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of
light. 15
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the
ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (KJV)

He's Evangelistic; Actively Pursuing followers. (Most Successful
S.W.)
1 Pet
5:8 Be sober, be
vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about,
seeking whom he may devour: (KJV)

He Is Patient. 1 Pet 5:8
(Can Wait Him Out)

He Is Accepting. He Turns
Away No Prospect.
But look at his army? It is
made up of Parasites!!!!
The church could learn a lot from our
enemy’s strengths! (Be warned of his strengths)
What are His weaknesses? How then to we overcome him? (Jn. 10:10)
1 Jn. 3:8
…”For this purpose the Son of God was
manifested, that he might destroy
the works of the devil”(KJV)
1 Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have
overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the
world. (KJV)
Rev. 12:11 And they overcame him by
the blood of the Lamb,
and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (KJV)
Satan wants us to believe several
lies:
1- That
faith in God doesn’t make any difference. (Naturalism or Fatalism)
2- That
your situation is “different” from other believers.
3- He
would love for you to believe that he doesn’t exist. (or uninvolved)
1. Satan
uses our problems and blessings to get our eyes on our surroundings instead of
God. (senses vs. faith)
2. Cp.
The temporary and eternal? (Rich Fool Lk. 12:16-21) [illus. Parents concerning
child’s spiritual need.]
4- That
our spiritual conflicts are useless, without reason. (LIE)
5- If all
else fails he wants you to believe that you have plenty of time to make
spiritual decisions.
1. The world.
2. The flesh.
3. The Devil.
Application: Satan is also attracted by garbage in our lives, can then prey on us.
